Watson Foundation 2025 fellowships were announced last Friday and I am thrilled I was selected to join the class of 15 students.
The foundation’s announcement came earlier today.
One of my goals with this fellowship is to better empower my nonprofit work with Strike Out Kids Cancer. Every kid deserves to be on the field at whatever level they can participate.
In 1961, the Watson Foundation was created as a charitable trust in the name of Thomas J. Watson Sr.
Thomas Watson is perhaps best known for building the IBM Corporation. I am honored that I was chosen in the 24th Class of Jeannette K. Watson Fellows. Clearly the Watson family is committed to also growing leaders.
The Watson Foundation provides one-of-a-kind programs, and over 100 global partnerships.
The Foundation works with students to develop personal, professional and cultural opportunities that expand their vision, test and develop their potential, and build their confidence and perspective to be more humane and effective leaders with a world view.
